This home based business, although it would probably start small, could be grown to virtually any size depending on the amount of work you were able to secure for your home based business. One woman who started this type of home based business had so much work she hired eight different transcribers who all worked in her home.

Special Comments*:
Beware of companies selling information that is specifically related to "medical transcription" jobs. Often these types of offers involve unscrupulous businesses and you may regret investing in them! They often sell you software and training which can cost several thousand dollars.  In the end after you've paid for the training and software you still have no experience. Although you've spent the money, you may have extreme difficulty finding an actual job or finding customers for your new home based business. Make sure you are dealing with a reputable company and that you understand exactly what you will receive for your investment. If they promise you work for your new home based business after you've paid for software and/or training, get the promise in writing and look carefully for loopholes.
